Default Blinker failure after speed sensor replacement

I experienced speed sensor failure on my 99 road king a couple of weeks ago. The Speedo quit and the blinkers failed. After replacing everything returned to normal until a few days ago. The blinkers started doing wierd ****. Ssometimes they work sometimes they come on only as long as you hold the button down and sometimes they work but don't cancel. I rerouted the sensor away from the tranny heat. At a loss. Can anybody help?

connections good??
test the other sensor, may have been the speedo. sensor sends square wave to speedo, turns mod gets speed/distance info from it.

brother after all this time I finally checked the right connection, as you suggested and guess what? Lol maybe I should have stuck with the blinker fluid after all.
