Default Molex connector help

Took fairing off and found this Molex connector (lefthand control) on 13 FLHTK not fully seated. For some strange reason, the connector will not snap together. All the pins are straight, the rubber gasket is seated, no matter how hard I push it will not "snap together"...

Take it apart, and look at it closely. Are there any bent pins?

Everything is working? Some connectors don't snap. Take it apart again. Clean the inside of the connector with a Q-tip and alcohol, clean rubber moisture boot. Wipe a little bit of Vaseline on the moisture boot and put it back together. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Default Molex

thanks for the advise. That’s what is driving me nuts, I inspected all pins and cleaned all pins holes. There are no bent pins. There is no visible defects. My volume control has malfunctioned. My local harley dealer has ordered a new volume switch. I will let the dealer inspect and repair the connector. I think the issue with the volume control could be related to this Molex connector. Thanks
