Rear right running light remains on??
2009 XL1200N
I recently installed 12" apes on my bike, and as I put everything back together I found that the running lights and the headlight wouldn't come on once I turned on the ignition. I looked deeper checked wiring, checked harnesses, and finally found that there was a blown fuse. Replaces the fuse for the lights, and the headlight was back in action, but the brake lights were lit as if I was depressing the brake. Figured out that the depress button on the throttle side was just not getting depressed all the way, so I adjusted and the left side is working perfectly now, the right side still lights with brake light only. I'm not sure what else could be the problem. And I'm not sure if related, but the headlight bright light does not work, I figure I'll replace the bulb to begin with and see if that does the high beams, but like I said I'm lost in the right rear light. If I hit the turn signal, it shows on the Speedo but doesn't blink on the rear light.
Thanks guys, just now getting into personal Harley maintenance.
