Default LED headlamp install issues.

Got this light:

Amazon Amazon

Had to also get this harness:

Amazon Amazon

When i plug it in, only the brights come on and by 'brights' i mean every bulb on the light comes on which i assume is the bright setting? If I turn the switch to normal low beams, the light goes completely off. Any suggestions?

It isn't wired correctly! If those two connectors are identical have you swapped them over?

Yeah, i've tried about every combination at this point I think.

The sucky part is that this:
Amazon Amazon

Looks nothing like the pic. The blue wire, that I believe should be the low beam doesn't actually go to the three prong plug center as shown in the picture. It just sits separate and has a different connector on it that mates with the halo spade connector off the light so I'm not sure exactly how this adaptor is supposed to work as that would be bypassing the low beam entirely would it not? I tried running a splice in there to test to make the actual adaptor look more like it does in the pic and just not even worry about the halo until the low high beams were working but still no luck.

You can use a 9 volt radio battery to test and see which wire lights what bulb. LED's don't need a big battery to work.

The adaptor the seller noted to use does NOT work as you suspected and is the wrong adaptor.

The harley adaptor noted above or the wiring noted works correctly with no issues.

I ended up taking one of the adaptors they shipped and rewired it as per the link above and it works perfectly so if anyone else with a FLHXS buys one of these lights, either just buy the harley adaptor or use that to wire one.
