Default No lights and wouldn't start?

My 06 dyna ran fine. I washed it yesterday. When I went to start it this morning I turn the key on and no fuel pump priming and nothing happens when I hit the starter button.

I turned the key off and back on. Everything works and she starts right up. As I'm riding into work I hit the turn signal and the speedo freezes and goes dark. The needle also stuck. No turn signals.

I get to work and park her. Then I turned the key off and back on. Everything works again.

Fast forward. I go to leave work. Tune the key on. Nothing. No lights and no starting. I checked the fuses and none were blown. I put all of the fuses back in and wiggled the ignition switch wires. Now the bike will start but I don't have any lights. A few minutes later and the bike won't start again and still no lights. I can hear a clicking from the electrical box area when I turn the key on.

My first plan of attack is to replace the system relay and starter relay. I am wondering if it could be the ignition switch going bad

I would be looking at the switch first and checking all connections.

Here's a link to disassembly and cleaning of the ignition switch.

Thanks for the link qc but it's not a tank mounted switch. It's mounted in the frame neck. It is still not bad to get to but I don't know that you can disassemble theseName: photo246.jpg

I concur with the switch, for testing purposes you could just use some wires with blade connectors and jump between the wires and if all is well get a new switch on order.
