Default Flashing turn indicators

2002 Road king. When I turn the switch on, the turn indicators flash 6 times. I know it's a code but would like to know what it means and what to do about it. It doesn't effect the way the scooter runs. Thanks for any help I can get.

I wish someone would answer you since my 01 Softail is doing the same thing. I have a manual, but I can't find anything about how to clear a code. I get 4 million threads when I try to do a search, and nothing I can find applies to this issue.

So as not to reproduce an answer that is already out there, see the website below:

Here is what it took to clear out the code in my 01 Softail

Turn ignition on and immediately turn on 4 way flashers (it will stop and flash 6 times for the code and then pick back up)
After 15 seconds turn the ignition switch to off. The flashers will continue to work.
After 10 or 15 seconds more, turn the ignition switch back on and wait another 10-15 seconds with the flashers on and the ignition on. Turn flashers off and turn ignition off.

That worked for me after a bit of trial and error.
