LED replacement bulbs 16 XG500
Hello HD fans, I tried posting in the Street Forum without success. I was wondering if anyone outside my forum would have some advice. I am trying to find out if it is possible to replace the factory bulb in the 2016 XG Street 500 with a LED replacement. Any help on explaining CANBUS would be much appreciated. Yes you can change the bulb out with LED, but you will need the CANBUS module from the vendor to do it. The CANBUS module goes inline from the light to the main harness, it provides 2 functions the first being to put the same load as an incandescent bulb on the line and the other is to prevent power from going back to the low beams wire when high beams are in use.

Thank you Zanthamos, I would like to replace the turn signal bulbs on my XG. I cant believe I left that part out of the original post. I already upgraded the stock headlamp to the HD Daymaker and I love it. Do you have any information concerning the turn signals? Thanks so much for your time. |
Check Custom Dynamics, that is what I used and am l thoroughly impressed. They have a signal stabilization module that works better than the load balancer as it doesn't generate the heat.
