My connector was completely corroded as well. I simply replaced it with one from RadioShack it was in a 5 pack. When I sealed it back up I just put a little RTV around everything to keep it all water tight and it has been perfect ever since.

Well guy's,I am now at my witt's end. I have removed the old corroded battery and connector, replaced the connector, and installed a new battery. When I reconnected the start battery the alarm chirped twice.I armed it and then disarmed the alarm, started the bike and shut it off ..NO FLASHING KEY...About an hour later..yep! it went off with no one around.it lasted about a minute then stopped..I thought the 9v battery was low on charge so I removed it to charge, leaving the alarm unit OFF the bike.Nothing for 2 days.I put the battery back in and reinstalled the whole unit and after 2 hours the same thing.....went off for about 30 seconds then stopped.I then left the battery out of the alarm housing and reinstalled the unit plugging it in with no 9v battery thinking all that would happen is no siren.I armed it and disarmed it with lights flashing as they should.I walked back in the house and I'll be dammed after 2 hours the siren went off again !! WITH NO 9V BATTERY INSTALLED !!!! Is this damm thing possessed ??? At this point I really thought that without the 9v battery only the lights would flash (no siren) BUT APPARENTLY THAT'S NOT THE CASE !!! what can I do to shut this damm thing up ?? Tim

I haven't touched the sensitivity setting, the bike is in the garage and not even a fan is on ,but I will check that....the last time it went off I didn't have the 9v battery installed.I removed it to charge it and had the siren box plugged in , that kinda tell's me that the MC battery also fires the siren. The siren will not go off if the siren box is unplugged, but I can still arm/disarm the bike with the remote and the lights will flash with the box still unplugged ........now I'm not sleeping out there so I can't say it's still not going off and the lights are flashing ! LOL !.Tell me,can this whole assembly be disconnected without affecting the operation of the bike ?I hate to just start putting things on and hoping it will correct the issue because most if not all can't be returned.

Ok,update, charged the battery, reinstalled siren box in the morning, lasted till 3:26 the next morning...unplugged unit, took out new battery, threw away siren, taped up connection.put side cover and bag back on,armed/disarmed system, problem solved ! Should have done this two weeks ago....was told by Harley that siren was just an add on module and system would work disabling ignition without it .....silence !! Thanks for all your input.....

Seriously the guy tried to sell me the benefits on that statement.
Anyways, it is an easy replacement and one becomes one with their bike when changing out parts..kinda like a Zen moment.
Hmm , and I didnt read all the thread before commenting...best become one with the way to disable the security system before the tssm packs it in or it is a trip to the dealer and a $500.00 bill to replace and reset the tssm to your bike and the security fobs.
