I'm looking at the led front turn signals for my 2017 Road Glide.
Plug and play variety. Custom Dynamics, Harley Davidson. do they both work the same?
Any feed back would be appreciated.

You can't go wrong with Custom Dynamics.

 

Ours are going to be plug-and-play, and will use your stock housing. Harley sells some inserts, but most of their LEDs will replace the housing as well, and may require you to pin a couple of connectors.

I went with the Custom Dynamics in the front and rear. my only bitch is the visored lens'
I had will not work with them so I had to get the boring bubble lens' too. Red rear Smoked front.

 

I run Moons MC moonpods in my SG. love them.

Custom Dynamics for sure!!

 

I run custom Dynamics LED turn signals. Illumination is great. Couple of downsides though are that they haven't come up with a real solid method of getting them to self retain within the bullet turn signal housings. They do work loose from being flush within the housing. Also the smoked lens covers they supply are a variety of plastic that is a bit too brittle. The Harley original smoked lens covers do not work with the custom dynamics turn signal inserts. I guess that's why the kit comes with the Custom Dynamics slightly modified lens covers. So watch out how you snap those in to the housings. The barbed tension retaining tangs on their lens covers tend to break off easily. They don't warn of any oops in their videos. But I just did. So heads up.

 

Ive been trying to get some after market LED/ DRL indicator lights working on my 07 Softail, DRL's work fine and change to amber and flash perfectly with just the ignition on, however once bike is running the DRL's go off and on randomly, I've tried to power the DRL's from different sources but to no avail,would it have anything to do with the self cancelling units

 

Some integrated DRL's such as the ones I have in my CD setup has the white halos that work while the TS is off but the white halos turn off to show the amber turn signal when signaling.
