07 XL883C intermittent CEL & Battery warning lamp

07 XL883C intermittent CEL & Battery warning lamp.
Driving me crazy! Comes on then goes back out before I can test anything.
Charging system voltage okay (when the lights are out, of course!).
All cable connections clean & tight.
My first XL, owned it less than a year.
24,000 miles.
No modifications to bike.
When lights are illuminated, performance is not affected.
Whattaya think?

Another thing: Although your battery cables are tight at both ends what is the overall condition/integrtity of the cables?

Found issue with neg cable when I first brought it home, corrected at that time. Still okay.
Two codes stored : P152 & P562.
I have the SM, no code help in there! Looks like I need to buy the electrical SM for the code charts.
Until then I'll wait and see if someone here can help.
