hello, I bought a brand new 2018 fender for my 2012 street glide and I plugged in the harness for rear taillights and 3rd light using the 2018 wire harness and nothing worked. I don't have the 2012 harness but I was wondering if I bought the 2012 harness would the 2018 lights work? or do I need to rewire the 2018 harness to convert between 2012 bike and 2018 taillight... ugh any suggestions? Thank you!

I forgot to mention the 2018 fender is from a road glide if that matters... thank you
