Default No brake light PLEASE help...

Ok I had another thread going on this but the focus has changed. Initially I was looking for wiring schematics for the rear lights for a 2018 touring. I have the wiring all figured out for putting a 2018 rear light and third light control module on my 2012 Street Glide. I've checked and I have power going to the third light control module for the brake on the red yellow wire into number 12 position on the connector. I still have no brake light. I have running lights and turn signals working perfectly but when I press the brake lever the lights do not get brighter and I only have one filament lit up in the bulb. I've been struggling with this for days and I need some help from someone or at least referral to someone else if possible. I appreciate all your time and your help thank you...Bryan

I'm not sure what light you are trying to add? The 18 street glide comes stock with 2 tiny little lights and the fender tip light. If you are talking the fender tip light, the stocker is only a running lamp and you would need the upgraded light for a brake lamp.

I purchased a rear fender from a 2018 road glide with all the lights.

What module are you trying to use to make this work?

Your brake lights should work when you operate either the front or rear brakes. Have you tried both of those?

yes I tried both front and rear brake.

What confuses me is that with the brake lever pulled i get a 12v reading on the DMM all the way to the rear fender control/3rd light module for the red/yellow wire. position #5 on the harness to bike connector and position #12 on the harness to control module connector. it also goes back to 0 volts with brake lever let go. ugh

with brake lever pressed I should have 12 volts at brake wire (red/yel), run light wire (blue) and acc wire (or/wh) only?

Blue and O/W should both have constant 12VDC when the switch is in IGN. R/Y should only have 12VDC with the brake pressed/pulled.
