Ok grounded antenna and push pull wiggle test findings: no radio in any results but it feels like the antenna connector is just to big for the internal Male connector of antenna. I made sure I had a good ground running to frame and mainly battery. I also had the thread keep spinning which actually ended up coming off so I body pressed it back on with the pavements assistance. The internal thread that screws into the antenna was rusty looking a little bit so I used QD cleaner and sanded it. I haven't seen the antenna wire under the tank but frame to fairing and rear tank to antenna all seems solid. What are your thoughts sir?

Perform the tests in the book exactly as listed. If you mean the post came out of the mount, I would replace that.

Is it possible to just plug another antenna into the radio? I not sure what type of connector is used on the radio or if it would be similar to the ones used on many autos.

I will have to access the end that comes out of the radio head in order to properly test this but yes I think it needs replacing. I also put 1 strand of copper wire on each connection point of the female end to tighten it up a little bit but still no result. Looks like I will have to wait for good weather and health to line up all the fairing tests.

Guienna yes they are standard antenna Jack's.

Well I went under the tank and through the fairing again. Every single connector and test I can perform. My volt gauge is actually accurate now but I have absolutely nothing to the head now. Just the dimmer and that's it. Not sure what else to do at this point but I'm exhausted and ready to throw fairing back on. I also did run a ground straight from battery to ground the radio but no difference .

I ran my multi meter of the fuses suspecting the same thing and oddly enough none of the fuses had juice besides the radio memory 1 amp. Didnt see any fuses actually blown but something fishy is definitely going on. I had to call it a night and leave my bike cause I was told I had a big seizure so the ole ladies driving me home as we speak.
