If you unplug the relay does the brake light stay on?
Do you have ABS

If you unplug the relay and the brake light stays on I don’t think either switch is bad. With the relay out check for voltage at the socket on 2b the R/Y it must be hot. Now you need to find out where the short is, unplug 7 and see if it goes away.

Vernal!!!!! Thanks brother, you helped me out BIG TIME!!! I really appreciate it!

Finally found the problem after Vernal’s last post. I guess I need to raise it back up a little bit. Apparently a 3” drop is too much...
