Road King 2013 not prompting for security pin
Hi! I was recently learning on how to retrieve and change my security pin and in the process I noticed that mi bike is not prompting for the security pin when the FOB is not present. Only the lights start flashing and the red key indicator in the speedometer lights up but I have no idea on how to enter the pin. However, I could indeed retrieve and change the factory security pin. Any input will be appreciated.

That is exactly the problem
However, if Indonthe retrieve/change procedure without the fob present (On/Off/On/Off/On left signal x 3 and right signal once) the security pin is displayed.

Where are you located?
There is a Facebook group that shares PDF Manuals and I looked there for the 2013 Elect Diag Manual

You have to turn the ignition, then hit both turn signals at the same time. Hold them until the PIN options shows on the odometer. That's how my 08 prompts anyways. I learned this through Google while stuck in a parking lot...
From what I gather, it will not prompt just because the fob isn't close. You need to trigger it with the turn signal switches.
