Hey guys I'm new to the site and new to Harley. This isn't my first bike by far. But it is my favorite.
Here's the problem I need help! I just put 14 in apes and underglow on bike. Project just about complete, putting all back together and now I have nothing g but a red key light flashing. New battery. New fob battery. Power to relays but still nothing but a red key flashing. I installed the ignition in without the spring trying to get it to start and all lights came on , took ignition out and put the spring back in now nothing once again

Has power commander
Just put 14in. Apes and led underglo on it. New clutch cable and brake lines in the front. I took ignition switch out and used a flat head to unlock wheel. Forgot and got the tumblers mixed up. Fooled around with the screw driver inside the ignition module. At first the security system would go off from motion due to working on the bike. I was fooli g around inside the module with flat head trying to align tumblers. . I put ignition switch in without the spring and I got lights power all good
Took the switch out and put spring back in lace now I only get red key flashing

 

I am having the same issue. Hope someone can help.

Well figured out that problem, THX for the video. Ignition was not lined up. Quick fix with a flat screw driver and all powers up. Now to figure out why I have no throttle.

 

May want to start you're own thread, so as not to have other trying to fix two separate issues. Good luck on your issue, OP still has one though.

 

I just installed 14" apes on my 2007 Street Glide. Give me a little more info on your throttle issue and maybe I can help. Mine is all good except my clutch will not dis-engage now. That is what I am fighting!lol

 

Your clutch ramps and ***** may have gotten out of whack. That will cause your problem and it can happen if you push the clutch cable in before adjusting it. (I learned the hard way...) Also, if you replaced the clutch cable, you might want to pull the cover and check it out...
