Fuel level plug connection Fat Boy 2004
Hello,
I reassemble parts that I did not deposit
Fat Boy 1449cc 2004
I do not know how to connect the fuel level indicator in the fuel tank cap.
The three wires have other colors than the circuit. See pics.
Indicator: blue, brown and yellow
Wire: yellow, black and red/white
I can not find a wiring diagram for this bike.
Someone knows the solution?
Someone would have the wiring diagram?
Thank you in advance,
Mick
To the fuel tank level jauge (in the tank cap)

We have a lot of pretty areas in UT. I'm in the North East corner " Dinosaur" country.
Pin 1 is power from the Instrument fuse so you should be able to see 12V with ign on, pull the fuse and 0.
Pin 4 is ground so continuity to grd should show close to 0 ohms.
Pin 2 signal will be common to connector on fuel pump
Good luck.

Thank you,
I have a blue, a brown and a yellow (as seen on the first picture).
But I think I can do it... Black is ground on Harley
I will measure 12 volts on the circuit with ignition on and will try.
If the fuse "clack" ... it's wrong.. ;-) try another wire
I travel Utah from south (Mexican hat.. to Moab and then to SLC with an escape to West Wendover for the Bonneville drag) Great everywhere and very nice people!!)
TY I will try next W-E on the bike
