I just Bought a 2012 FXDWG. It didn’t come with a key FOB. The dealership said it didn’t have a security system on it. When talking to friends they said it should of come from the factory with the factory security system.
Can anybody tell me if or if not that the system come from the factory? And if I should have a key FOB.

 

Ronnie’s parts shows 2 different BCMs #9 security and non-security. You could pull it and look for a part #.

Give these folks a call and they may be able to do a VIN check and see how it left the factory.

 

If you check the VIN on the Harley website, it should tell you if it came with security or not.

 

Not all of the 2012 models came with the security system as that was an option.
