Default Gonna tackle front signal relocation to forks. 2018 FXBR

I've tried looking at shop manual, but didn't see it clearly. Not defined.
It "appears" the signal leads run directly through the bars, out the bars, and into an opening on the neck of the bike. How do I get inside there to get to the connectors and de-pin them so I can pull the leads (still attached to the lamps) all the way out to relocate them to the forks? How do ya get in there to find the connectors?

Hoping for a nice clean install on a new FXBR breakout. I've ordered a Kuryakyn 49mm fork mount set. Thanks! Gonna rain, be a nice project.
