Default 69461-06B Trouble or not?

I recently installed the 69461-06B Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit to my FLHand it works nice and I like the extra brightness that lets the followers know I am there.
But,
I think I have a problem and hope there is an easy solution. I turned the ignition to accessory to listen to the radio and noticed that the turn signals/ running lights are on in the rear. The tail lamp is not. They turn off with the ignition turned off but are on during riding and accessory mode. Another rider with the same adapter on his Road King does not have this happen.

Does anyone know if FLH's do this or how I can fix it? Maybe it is defective from the factory? Maybe others have the same issue?

Thanks.

I read the other thread but may have missed anywhere that it said that the lights stay on when the ignition switch is turned to accessory. The lights work great when I'm riding and there is no problem with the brightness. My situation is that they stay on except when the ignition is switched to off.

If I listen to the radio where ever I am, with the engine turned off, the lights are on.

I did not want to do this but guess I will pull the meter out and check the contacts. This cycle does have another issue with the accessory switch on the fairing; I don't know where it leads to! I have the glo lights plugged into the harness behind the side cover but this 2008 did not match the Harley harness as far as wires leading to the right place. I have two hot wires to where there should be a hot and negative and the switch does not kill either of the hot ones.

Merry Christmas!

Default #69462-06A module still can't find problem

I looked at aftermarket kits for extra lights and have not found anything that I want to try until I figure out what is wrong with the factory #69462-06A module. I have read another post that explains all the wires in the harness and I see something about the accessory harness involved with the tail light harness, or maybe I read it wrong. This caught my attention because my accessory harness gave me a problem also. I bought the HD Glo Lights that plug into the accessory plug but they would not work because all the contacts were POS with no ground. And, the accessory switch does not switch off any of the POS hot wires so the glo lights are on whenever the engine is running.
I'm still confused as to what could be wrong with a totally stock, factory wired FLH and will be doing a meter run through before next spring!I'm still open to ideas from others who have had this issue.

ChevyNut252,

Did you ever get this issue fixed? I have the same exact issue on my 2006 street glide

Thanks,

Steve
