Default Demon Heated Grips on TBW

Hey,
Not sure if I am on the right page....

I have used demon heated grips happily on my older touring model. Now I was trying to install these on my 2011 SG using TBW.

1) I noticed that the rubber strip inside the heater element and the wire end has to pass the sensor end (where the sensor wires come out) in order to squeez both inside the bar. Therefore I am missing about 1" of element from the end of the bar (the heating element is partky underneath the switch housing). I know that Demon do modified type element for TBW models.
Q1- using above setup, will I still benefit some heat at all from my throttle grip?

2) The element is wrapped around the throttle sensor (very tide) and squuezed inside the bar.
Q2- Will the sensor survive the heat from the element? (loosing the throttle response... mmm don't wanna think what will happen)

Thanks,
Nico

I have them on my 2015 Ultra Classic. Work great. No TBW problem with the wrap around element on my throttle sensor. Just follow directions and you will be good. There are some videos on youtube also on installation of the Heat Demom grip heaters.
