Put LED turn signals on the front of my triglide. Bought the module (voltage regulator), as indicated by the Harley dealership. A technician showed me the where the plug in module was to be placed. The connector was hidden under the seat...under the metal crossbar that holds the handrails. I installed it at home....and of course the left turn signal blinked regularly for 4 blinks...and then sped up substantially. Harley friends came and helped me..........There were TWO identical connectors under the seat. The technician indicated the wrong one. After inserting the module between the other connector, the turn signals worked great........However, now when I use a turn signal, the radio volume goes down with each blink...for about three seconds........and then works fine.......until I turn again.........
Being a novice....I'm trying to learn
What is the problem?
Thanks very much.......called custom dynamics
They indicated it could very well be an interference problem with some of the load equalizer wires and where I placed them in relation to the antennae wiring.
I haven't had time to adjust anything yet but I appreciate the information you and Custom Dynamics have given me. I will post final results after this weekend when I've had time to adjust wiring....
