Default searched, but nothing...

tried several searches which yielded nothing... :/

Anyway, I love my FXD, except for the "Wart on the witches nose" tail light... ughh... I would like to know if there is an easy way to convert to the same setup as the street bob where the brake/turns/markers are all on the turn signals... and chop the rear fender to lose the hole...

Can the rear harness from a street bob plug n play with street bob t/s units?

Thanks in advance...

If you have to ask......

Simplest thing to do is swap your fender and rear lights for a SB set-up. I bought a rear fender and all lights plus wiring recently from a trike conversion. You may be able to find the parts on Ebay or your favourite advertising site. As for wiring that is easy enough to do, for just three lights, for Pete's sake!

Red face

Take a deep breath old chap!

They're just long thin pretty coloured pipes! If you use SB parts you may find the lighting harness plugs straight into your bike.

If it won't plug and play, it's a simple task to remove the pins from the plugs and put them in the proper plug. Lots of times, the pins need to be removed to pull the assemblies apart. Just tag everything before pulling and do not forget what's left from the front is right from the back. Or you will be asking, like the other 5 a week questions people on here make when the put Apes on. Why does the motor starts when I push the left signal light?

LOL... well, I'm one of those who doesn't have a problem twisting a wrench... wiring gives me the heeby-jeebies... but Harley is reluctant to say if the Harness is a simple plug-n-play swap... (they cite legal reasons as to why they can't say) oh, and no apes for this old geezer... Thanks!!
