Default Ultima adjustable pushrod kit's??

has anybody had any experience's using the ultima adjustable pushrod kit's??? there available on ebay for 99.00 for everything needed... would the quality be comparable to the screamin eagle or S&S kit's??? would like to know if they would be ok??? or should I spend the extra for the SE or S&S kit's... planning on ordering the Andrew's 48 cam's for my 08 superglide... looking to increase the low/mid range torque... as I mainly just use for street cruising and back road riding... motor has 20,000 miles... should the lifter's be changed while in there???? and yes, will be upgrading the inner bearing's !!!! appreciate your input....

A buddy of mine has a set, and no problems. Haven't loosened or bent after 20K miles yet.

Have never heard of them. Are they the same "Ultima" that builds the motors?

Understand. This is a component I would definitely not skimp on quality. Go for quality name brand stuff on any internal components. At least that's what I shoot for. Good luck with your mods....

definitely won't skimp on the part's.. my friend/hd mechanic that will do the work, wouldn't do the work with questionable part's!!! most likely will use the Andrew's 48h cam's.. which I can get off amazon for 210.00 shipped. and of course the upgraded inner bearing's!! most likely S&S standard lifter's and there adjustable pushrod's... unless I get some positive input on the ultima pushrod's???

Default ultima adjustable push rod set

I have run Ultima adjustable pushrods HARD and have never had a problem, period. I'll also add that I have NEVER had a problem with ANY Ultima product. I'm very pleased with the Ultima ignition system. I saved money and have a VERY dependable, very customizable ignition system.

Beware of ebay..
I bought a set from a private auction perported to be SE but have square adjuster nuts instead of hex... reference to flats adjusted on SE does not apply. They are 24 tpi.
The locking nuts are hex.
I'm guessing they may be no no name or ultimas.
They have not come loose at all (I have adjusted them at least 10x chasing some valve train noise) I use a spot of blue loctite when locking them down.
I'm running the 48s as well in a 96" in an 08 SG
I replaced the the B lifters with hylift johnson standards and after much fiddling with adjustments I put the stock lifters back in with the best results as far as noise goes.
Still don't have a valid auto tuned map (FP3) but the last CSR map from V&H seems to be the quietest with the B lifters reinstalled. MPG is still in the toilet tho.
I will probably replace them with S&S standards this winter.
