So if I do the cams which adj rods are best, alum or steel? S&S or Andrews?
Look around a bit. You can find cams from some of the builders in a bundled package or amazon, ebay etc for very good prices......

Ok, so I bit the bullet and bought the Woods TW-555, S&S quickee adj rods and tubes, torrington inner cam bearings and all the gaskets, o-rings, etc a man could want. Tearing down this weekend and hoping I can find a canned map at Powercommander to hold me till I can dyno it! Got a cooler full of beer chilling so if I can't ride at least I can get drunk and wallow in misery.

I see 103/106/107 in your future. You're gonna have to crank up the compression and lower your gearing..........

The pushrod/tube kit is seperate part number, from the cam install kit.

Default Tw-555 update

Installed the Woods TW-555 cams, S&S Quickee Adj. Push Rods, S&S Hyd Lifters and replaced inner cam bearings and all the o-rings on the oil pump etc....From around 2750rpm to the rev limiter, hold on cause she will flat run! Pulls like a mf'er all the way through, and acts like she wants more! I am using a canned map from Dynojet till I can get it on the dyno, map 818-105. Pleased so far, but I see a 103" or 107" upgrade in my future, lol! Took around 3 hours to do start to finish. A lot easier than I expected but then again most things are if you got everything on hand. Thanks for the input from all that posted, I'll keep you updated and post a dyno sheet after I tune her.
