Tube is likely fine unless it's bent. I'm betting you meant you had to replace either the top, lower, (or even the middle) o-ring or cork seals...

Glad you got her fired up! Great feeling to hear that initial "purr" isn't it? Now follow Kirby's (or others) advice on a good break-in strategy for that new big bore setup...

Posted a link to a video I made. Didn't know how to embed it.

I think it is slightly bent. The pushrod tube. I bought a set from a member today so I'm hoping this fixes it. I reseated the bushing and tube and went for a ride. I can see the oil squirting out where it sits in the head.

Pretty hard to bend a pushrod tube. More likely the top oring is pinched or not seated.

Or even missing. Hate to admit it, but I had an occasion where I didn't get it seated properly, turned to grab a wrench or something, and didn't notice that it had fallen out until after I was installing the pushrod. !@#$#@!!!

If anyone was ever wondering why to belong to a forum, stuff like this is the exact reason. Where else are you going to get access to some of the best wrenches around and input that could save you thousands. Not to mention the money I've saved by asking input first and buying later!!!
