X2... I put in a set of woods lifters once and I finally give up waiting for them to bleed down and went to bed, then done the other cylinder next day.. Them bastards took 6-8 hrs to bleed off

Thanks for all the help guys! Now I just gotta replace a pushrod tube that's leaking a bit.

Glad you got her fired up! Great feeling to hear that initial "purr" isn't it? Now follow Kirby's (or others) advice on a good break-in strategy for that new big bore setup...

Posted a link to a video I made. Didn't know how to embed it.
I think it is slightly bent. The pushrod tube. I bought a set from a member today so I'm hoping this fixes it. I reseated the bushing and tube and went for a ride. I can see the oil squirting out where it sits in the head.

Or even missing. Hate to admit it, but I had an occasion where I didn't get it seated properly, turned to grab a wrench or something, and didn't notice that it had fallen out until after I was installing the pushrod. !@#$#@!!!

If anyone was ever wondering why to belong to a forum, stuff like this is the exact reason. Where else are you going to get access to some of the best wrenches around and input that could save you thousands. Not to mention the money I've saved by asking input first and buying later!!!
