Default 110 jugs on a 103

I'm considering a new built and wondering what it takes to make a 103 into a 110 or 113. I know the cases have to be bored but is there anything else needed? Will the stock heads work if ported?

Where's the best place to get the cases bored?

cases would have to be bored.youde be better off having your cylinders bored for 107" pistons.a little smaller but a whole lot less work

Go 107" or go big...124". Your budget will dictate.

Exactly, not much point really of going to the trouble (and dollars) of case boring and only being at 110

If willing to bore the cases, a 117" would be the way, using an S&S 4 1/8" cylinder/piston kit.
We've been boring HD engine cases here for over 2 1/2 decades.
With the proper heads/cam/pipe/throttle body, 130 hp and 135 honest ft/lbs is in easy reach.

The cost of doing a 110" case bore as compared to just a jug bore 107" wouldn't be worth it. especially when it come to the difference in the amount of power that would be obtainable.

That's kinda what I had in mind. I'm looking for good low range torque, what cams would you recommend in that build Scott?

Did a 117" a while back for a Client over in San Diego, using his existing cam from his 88".
Wood 6/117"/Supertrapp/55mm t/body/our Stage IV Heads/10.0 cr.
Had 120 ft'lbs at 2300 and peaked at 3900 at 134, still carrying 120 at 5200, tuned at RC Cycles in Hayward, California.
Hp topped out at 126, but keep in mind, only a .510" lift cam!!
Just an example.
