Default Andrews 37H or 57H cams for my SE 2008 Springer

I've read so much lately about cams, fck...
Anyway, looking at the 37H cams on my SE 110B 2008 Springer.
V&H Big Shots ( baffled ), SE heavy breather.
After maybe another 8-10 hp and 8-10 tq, currently have 97 hp and 114 tq.
Would these figures be around the mark?
Looking at more punch at 2500-5500 range.
What pro/cons in skimming 030"-040" off the heads, good idea?
Any other cams? Andrews 57H?
Not looking at changing lifters or push rods etc.
thanks boys

The 57 is the high-lift version of the 37, with tweaked exhaust timing.
It'll out-produce the 37.
Just finished another 107" 2 days ago with that cam, and an S/E 58 mm/our Stage II Plus Heads.
It's snappy.

IIRC, the 110 CVO heads have a 95cc combustion chamber and a flat top piston?? As Scott points out, the 57 is identical in profile to the 37 except for the higher lift; for that reason the 57 would be a better choice. However, the Andrews 48 with an earlier intake close but .020" less lift boosts CCP and TQ and IMHO should be considered depending on the results you are looking for. Both benefit from a .030" head gasket.

I think I would be looking to port those heads and deck as required to build around a higher lift cam like the TW60, TMan 590, SS 625, etc. but that's just me.

That 48 is a home-run plug/play torque producer.

For grins try the TTS-100 cams, they do what the 48's do but hit a tad harder.

Yes they are! Since I put a set in mine due to Scott's advice, I have done 3 more bikes after they ride mine. They are never a bad choice for a cam only swap!

I agree with DJL also, with 110 CI to play with port heads and set compression for some larger cams.
