Default Throttle body - 50mm or 58mm?

Hoping some of you wrenches can help me identify the throttle body size on my 2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited. I thought original equipment on the 2014 Limited was 50mm. However, I am currently running the SE Extreme Billet Ventilator Air Cleaner Kit (p/n 29400223 pictured below) which the dealer installed before I took delivery of the bike. When I look up the Ventilator AC Kit that I have, the fitment says "'14-Later Touring with SE 58mm throttle body"). Does that mean my throttle body is 58mm since I have the Ventilator AC Kit? I want to replace the Ventilator with an HD Chisel AC Kit but I don't know which throttle body size to purchase. The Chisel AC Kit comes in 50mm and 58mm.

Easiest way to know is to remove the a.c. assembly and measure across the opening of the tb.

That measurement will be 2.250" if it is a 58mm.

Was hoping there was a way to tell without disassembling. Wanted to order the new part today. I'm not sure measuring is the "easiest" with me being in the office and my bike being at home. Certainly, measuring is the most "accurate" way to know.

The OEM throttle body should be a 50mm unit. The only reason to install a 58mm unit would be if the bike had a "Stage 4" kit or other significant engine work done. Just having the Andrews cams and Power Tune Duals shouldn't warrant the 58. But you should really ask the Dealer as to what they can tell you.

certainly the best way is to measure it. Scott gave you the coverted measurement and it's not really a disassembly. It is not much more disassembly than changing a filter. Although it may postpone ordering your part by a few hrs. In the end you will know exactly what you have. Skip calling the so called tech at the dealer....don't assume they know all.

The dealer will have any modifications made to the bike at their shop and possibly more in their computer system. So yes, they'll be able to say one way or another what it has or doesn't.

Thanks for all of the input. The wealth of knowledge, advise and information provided by members is awesome!

I did call the dealer where I purchased my bike and they were able to look up everything they did and provided me the proper specs. Thanks again!

What was it 50 or 58. Haven't seen a 58 with the 57 cam. Glad you got it straight.
