Default Disconnect Automatic Compression releases?

I have a set of S&S EZ Start Cams I would like to try out on my 2012 Road Glide with a 103. Can I simply disconnect the ACRs to use the EZ start cams. Will I get any codes?

You can disconnect them. I don't know about codes though

Will your tuner allow you to turn them off?

I know my screamin eagle will.

If you have a cam and ACR's alread, why are you wanting EZ start cams? Not flaming, just wondering.

So, you already have the EZ start cams? I assume that you are concerned that there may be starting issues with the EZ starts and ACRs? I don't think so; it should start easy with no issues. Anyway, the ACRs can be turned off with some fuel management systems or you can have the dealer turn them off if necessary.

If you simply unplug the ACR's the ECU/ECM should throw codes. However it shouldn't be a issue for the starting system because the EZ-starts just make it a mechanical process.

...best option is to disable the ACR option via the fuel controller and save the map update.

I've had mine in for about 6 months and have had no problems...ACR's on and easy start cams...starts right up and no codes.

No need to disable the ACRs. IIRC, the ECM controls how much to hold the ACRs open to achieve the required cranking speed, so the ECM will just not open the ACRs as much as it would without the EZ start cams.
