Default Help: twin cam 88- cam journal marred up

Help, tore apart my twin cam 88 bottom end after my oil pump broke and cam bearing came apart. Marred up one cam journal pretty bad picture attached .

I'm a machinist so all I can think is fresh bore and larger bearing OR bore and custom bushing . What do people do in this situation!?

Thanks for the reply . Yes , this could work. Maybe jb weld for good measure . It's still measures a proper interference fit.. I will attemp to clean any burs and get Torrington bearings . Fingers crossed .
Further advice welcomed

If the bore was damaged to the point that I had to do something about it I'd send the cases to Vee Twin and have them bored to accept the B168 inner bearings.

Then I'd ebay an 07 and up hydraulic plate and cams. You'll wind up with a good fix and have a wider selection of cams if you ever decide to go that direction.

From the dink mark on the edge of the bore , I wonder if there was a tiny fragment riding in there for a while? Was it still the original cams in there?

I would not trust any loctite or adhesive as suggested. Send the case to John Dahmer at Hoban brothers and have them install the steel inserts.
