Default Twin Cam Oil Pressure Sensor Socket Size

Does anyone know off hand the required socket size for the oil pressure sensor on a late model (2014) 103" twin cam?

I have a Jerzee Customs oil pressure gauge kit that I want to fit but don't have the correct socket size for the oil pressure sensor to remove it. It looks like it needs about a 1" deep socket - but the biggest I currently have is a 13/16"

It's pretty tight in there to get at the sensor without removing the pipes, but will be fine with a socket and a universal joint. I can't get a wrench in there though.

So - anyone know what size socket I need so I can go buy one?

Thanks in advance!

1 1/16 inch wrench works on my 2010 (Started life as a 96"). I am not sure if the sending unit is different on the 2014, as you are thinking it looks like a 1 in. then it would not surprise me if it is 1 1/16".

Thanks for that - although I think it's a different size.

I just put a micrometer on it (should have thought to do this before posting. Doh!) and it reads 23.8mm - which equates to 15/16".

So, deep reach 15/16" socket on order. Plus I ordered a 7/8" for the Jerzee Customs T-piece coupler. Shame that's not the same size, but at least I thought to measure that one as well before digging into the bike!

Quick update......socket size was 15/16" to get the sensor out.

Oil Pressure Gauge fitted, and after a good ride it reads around 12 PSI at hot idle and 30-40 PSI when cruising around.
