Milwaukee 8 after market
Will the after market industry produce higher performance parts for the new series of engines to the point where as you're looking at a whole new era for HD performance engines? I like the prospect of a S&S 124 for a new Breakout along with a better tranny. Is it possible that a revised Milwaukee 8 could compete with the S&S?

The Aftermarket could be responsible for the majority of the initial M8 sales... |
How many people are still willing to pay the Harley Tax to get the same performance that one could get out of the box from a different brand?
It is bad enough that the air cleaner, exhaust and tune is required right away just to make it run as it was designed by the engineers. Now who wants to throw another thousand dollars just to make it go faster than a Kia from a dead stop? |

I am aware of several vendors that have had '17 model in their shops since they became available and expect to see some performance parts for the new motor pretty soon. Let's see who is first.....:icon_wink:
