Default Piston ring orientation problem?

So im in the middle of installing new 10.5-1 comp pistons in my 09 street glide. I installed the rings placed them in the correct orientation per the service manual and installed the piston into the rear cylinder. Now heres my issue, i set the ring orientation to the front piston but installed it in the rear cylinder. The piston is in the right directions just the ring orientation is for the front piston not the rear...Do i need to remove the cylinder and piston again and fix this issue? or can i just do the rear orientation for the front and call it a day

Since that's as far as you got, take the jug off and do it right. That way you won't be worry about it.

Ring orientation really doesn't make any difference as long as they are staggered.

They are absolutely staggered just in the wrong places according to the manual for the rear piston. none of the gaps are over the wrist pin holes. all gaps are staggered in the 2,4,8,10 positions

If the piston is in the right cylinder, don't worry about it. The rings are going to move around anyway.
