I just realized you have a 103" HO. doing a cam only at this point would be a waste of money. Wait till you can do the heads and bring the static to 10.2 then you can do a EV57 or even a woods triple7 or 8...

Some of those cams are best suited at stick compression, others at around 10-10.2, and others around 10.5.

i think you need to work out a budget and exactly what you want. That will enable you to narrow down what you do.

if you're doing the cam change yourself then it's a good mod. But if you're paying a shop to do it it's exxy and worth considering doing more to it.

based on just a cam change but forecasting port and polish headwork later I would consider the cr575 or the 57h

good luck

Cyclerama 570 would be the best low end stock compression choice
And I say this with no pleasure in promoting this company

If I understand the new question, we are talking a cam only upgrade to an other wise bone stock 103" motor with an exhaust upgrade? In that case there are only two cams on the list that qualify iMHO; the 48 and the TTS 100. The SE255 is not on the list but should be, again, JMHO. I think you would be happy with either but the TTS 100 or the 150 would be my choice based on what I have seen performance wise with an emphasis on torque.

Yeah but he also wants some cams that'll work with further upgrades down the track. If he didn't I'd suggest the 48h and TTS cam too

I didn't list the 255 because, isn't that what I basically have now?

Cam only and stock compression....the TTS 100 is a great performer. I'm very happy. On a SGS it will light up the tires from a light....if one wants to..

What you have already is a valid option though surely otherwise the question becomes what is better than a 255, no?

What you have already is certainly the cheapest option

That is like "how long is a piece of string" ...different builds, different needs ...different cams. Like you said earlier ...what is he aiming for?
