You'll find that when pulling the bearing, as you apply more & more pressure..... there's like a moment where time stands still, the earth stops rotating, dems and reps get along, you think something is going to break, then..... POP it comes free lol.

I have this really cool bearing puller/installer. It's this all in one tool that someone was making a while back and selling them here and on HTT I believe. I purchased it about 6 years ago and have used it 3 times and it works like a champ. For the life of me I can't remember who the hell was selling them though.

Always a good idea. Freeze bearing and liberally apply assembly lube to bearing and boss. Not a "have to" but it will facilitate the bearing install and helps to avoid getting the bearing started in crooked.
