Things that will help.. One heat range cooler plug gapped at 0.032 will help as will backing off the timing. Lower idle. say 950.. No throttle on starts..

If you are running a 195 ccp (as calculated) you got way too much timing.. Personally I'd dump the dynatek for a DTT.

Daytona Twin Tec?
Just curious, how are you coming to that conclusion?

The main reasons are that I like the settings on the DTT better, and know how to program it to reduce kickback.. I used a Dynatek before going to a Crane then to a DTT. Crane was good but hard to find cables / software for it..

If you are using 36A on the Dynatek for the curve you probably have way too much timing. I would try 30B but once you correct that you might find throttle response a little lacking. The documentation is not very good on what the Dynatek module is doing during cranking..

That is the nice thing about the Dynatek 2000i You can select however many dead revs you need. I use 4. Not only that it also will not advance the timing curve till once the motor rpm's are over 500. And you can change all that as well... I believe the Software comes with the ignition but the patch cable is optional....

We'd have releases in that here.
All the 103's @ the stock 9.6 cr from HD are release equipped.
Can save a lot of headache.

Nothing wrong with the 2000I.. I run one in an evo bobber.. Nice thing about evos is that you can you can twist the plate to retard the timing. The 2000i won't work on a Twincam.. The Dyna TC88-1 is real limited in what it can do..

I did have a Daytona Twin Tec on it before the build, then went to the Dynatek. Maybe that's where some of my problems came from. Too bad I sold it.
