Adding Andrews 57h cams to my 16sgs. I was told I might want to think about adding a Andrews crank advancer as well any input on this?

If you aren't planning on raising the static compression, advancing the cams will increase the corrected compression and boost low end torque as compared to running the same cams with no advance. Otherwise, those cams might be a little soft on low end torque with the stock compression. If you're doing a cam change only I think it would be a good idea. If you increase the static compression at a later time you can go back to the stock cam advance pretty easily.

These do work on the 103 motors right? Doesn't seem to be much info about them. Easy install? What's involved? Any instructions out there?

I would 100% install the advance gear, even then it may still be a little soft on the low end with stock compression.

They should work just fine on your 103. I have a set of Cycle Rama 575s that I was planning on using in conjunction with the 4° advance sprocket in my 103, but I decided to do headwork and raise my compression at the same time I change cams. All it is is a sprocket with a relocated keyway that replaces your stock cam sprocket, so it should be easy to install, as the stock sprocket needs to be removed to change your cams anyway.

Also agree, as I just installed 57H cams with 4+ advance sprocket in my scoot. Emailed Anderson last year asking same question as my FLHR is a little heavy including my 275 lbs., wife's 125 lbs. & 50 lbs. of cloths etc., Andrews advisor suggested 4+ advance sprocket as well.

Should make a noticeable difference increasing some low end torque, however when compared to "stock cams", it will still lag a little between idle & 1,800 RPM's buuuuut will quickly put a smile on your face from 1,800 to 5,200.

57H without 4+ advance sprocket: 2,200 to 5,600.
