bike stumbles
I have a 2004 Harley Sportster 1200 it has an air cleaner and short shot exhaust, when you just crack the thottel a little it pops and stumbles. It sounds like it's back firing through the carb. I've tried re jetting the carb and it doesn't seem to help. Looking for a direction to go it.

Sounds like a lean condition.
Air/idle mixture screw needs to be 2 1/2-3 turns out, and keep bumping the pilot jet up until that symptom is gone.
