First ever Cycle-Rama 660I-2 cams Build
well I have all ways wanted a 124 motor on a bagger so I purchased this 2014 street glide late last summer. removed the engine and disassembled it and sent the cases off to Cycle-Rama last fall. You know the drill bore cases, new S&S crank, went with cycle-rama custom heavy finned cylinders and custom CP pistons to go with the 110 heads. and was going to go with there cr650 cams. that's when Wes said not to be in a hurry he was in the developing stages of a new cam with a 660 lift which would bring on the torque earlier and still produce the same power as the 650 cams did. so I told him lets go for it and see how this goes. well the bottom end was done early winter and Wes worked on the heads to match them up for this new cam design, having a low TDC. He used a 2.1750 intake valve and 1.625 exhaust valve finally flow numbers were 335 on the intake, and 234 on the exhaust @ 650 lift at 28'' on his flow bench with the ports still showing high velocity. compression was set for 11.5:1 for the 61 intake closing on the cams. now here is where the problem was Andrews ran out of blanks and told Wes he would have the cams in 6 weeks well that would have been first week in march. I got my bottom end and heads middle of April and finally the cams were dropped shipped to me on may 5. I all ready had the motor back in the frame just waiting on the cams. finished assembling bike that night and had it running at 9:05 pm.
