I am doing cams, lifters, tappets, etc this weekend, I keep reading on lowering top deck .030 or something, for more power? can someone shed some light, since I'm playing with motor, id like to do it all one shot, like I think I read, changing the thickness of head shim etc. id like to know all particulars please, ,parts needed to do job, and will engine still hold its incredible reliability, leaks, etc? thanks in advance!!!

going to a .030 head gasket will raise the compression.compression needs to be matched to the cams.what cams are you installing?

Biggest bang for the dollar would be our 107" kit, with a choice of S&S EZ start cams with all Cometic gaskets needed.......$1065.00

One thing to note is that you'll need a tuner. FP3s are typically only good for stage 1s.

Yep.
Those tuners are limited, as Bruce has mentioned.

S&S 583C CAMS, AS I SPENT ALOT OF TIME ON PHONE W/DIFFERENT COMPANYS, THESE PULL FROM 1500K-5000 PERFECT!!!,THATS WHERE IM AT ALL THE TIME!!!!! altho the Reapers 525 pull from 1750-5500!!!!
LIFTERS, TAPPETS, Possibly a Fueling oil pump, not sure I need that with just cams, that can wait till I do a fuel Moto 107 kit, or similar, how do you guys feel about that, THundermax, constantly tunes on the fly, as weather changes it MAKES SENSE, to lean or richen bike out, replaces ECM, AND BOTH O2 SENSORS? THANKS in advance guys!!!!

This is tuner I was looking at
http://www.thunder-max.com/Products/...ms309-460.aspx

not sure why I would need to dyne tune it, unless wanted to see numbers? as its supposed to tune automatically, thats what I was lead to believe?

this is a complete setup, do you have specs, etc, lifters, tappets, obviouslly get rid of those terrible bearings, for the Torrington's, I CANT BELIEVE Harley used that crap, I do a lot of wrenching myself, to a point, I opened up the cam chest , and when I saw those I didn't even know about Torrington yet, but I knew that was CRAP quality!!!!!????
how much installed?and how long would it take you to do kit quoted...as id like to hang out, not over your shoulder, but I like to be "involved" also your not around the corner, soooo
