93 FLSTC SOFT TAIL BEARING went out
Cam bearing broke up got 75% of bearing I'm just going to put new cam new pinion gear adj push rods everything looks good but my HD mechanic said should open it up to flush any metal bearing peices but going to not do that can you give me feedback on that

Oil pump, oil bag/lines should be cleaned, and if not splitting the cases, at least flush cases with solvent/kerosene.
