Cam install question

.....and if you really wanted to split hairs I think you're better off now with what you have as far as cams go that ones with a 40 degree close if you aren't raising the compression.
Keep what you got, install those insert things and load a Powervision/FM map and you'll be at the coffee shop quicker than with those larger cams.

Well, sorry to tell you my friend but the Power Vision has many more features than the TMax which is why it is hard to find a tuner that will/can tune with a TMax and many, maybe even most, tune with the Power Vision or TTS Mastertune. No disrespect intended, that's just a fact. I would suggest you do a little homework on cam selection and how the intake valve timing affects compression before you purchase a cam set. JMHO.

The problem with Tmax is that you can get a tune reasonably close without a dyno. Less people go to Dyno shops to get them tuned. There are guys that tune with them tho.. Frank Dragos, Zippers, Scott Palmer (Hillside), and Fuelmoto..
Messing with TTS or PV, you might as well poke yourself in the eye with a sharp stick if you don't have a dyno..
