Default Branch-O'Keefe Heads

Does anyone here have current experience with Branch O'Keefe heads? I've used them in the past but not for a Twin Cam.

I'd like to hear some feedback on them.

From what i've heard...Branch is no longer run by Branch but they kept the name because, well, the name is what people know.

Also, a local dyno tuner advised against Branch. He had indicated they are great for all out ***** to the wall power, like at the track. For every day riding and a more street-able bike he advised to look elsewhere.

Clear disclaimer here...I've never used Branch, never even talked to them. This is only what I've personally heard from a reputable dyno tuner in the area. If you're close to Branch, there are only a handful of "known" tuners in the surrounding area. I don't want to drop any names, so take that with a grain of salt.

Buddy had a set of O'Keefe Branch heads done a few years ago on a 95 ci Dyna. Man was he pissed when my 95ci RK with smaller valve heads smoked his dyna. They ended up fixed by WFO Larry..

There are plenty of shops out there with great twincam expertise, including HDF sponsors Hillside Cycle and Fuel Moto. Bring yourself up to date with the cream of the current crop!

The ports aren't too bad, but the valve seat area, not the valve sealing, but the seat area seems to be odd.
Just had an older set in here that we got running fairly well.
Went out the door on a 108" Evo build.
Can be viewed on our Facebook.

Jerry Branch is now like 90 years old. He still comes into the shop occasionally. Last I head, he still drives! His long time co-worker and protégé, John O'Keefe runs the place now.

Those folks were some of the very first to start doing port work, on HD heads.
That can be traced back to the XR 750 bikes if not mistaken.
Gotta give respect to Mr. Jerry Branch.

Had Jerry Branch modify the heads on an 80-inch shovel chop (1993).

Double-plugged, milled, 5-angle valve job, cc'ed etc.

Ran good and no problems.

I've got a set on my 95" twin cam dyna, along with their matching CP pistons. It definitely comes on stronger in the higher rpms, though that could be due to my cam, Andrews TW60.
