What are you doing to your '18? My '17 came with the HD stage 2 with 447 cam and it leaves a lot lacking for me.

My 18 currently has Stage 4 with D&D exhaust and Fuel Moto base tune with PV. Once I get past break in I will have Wolf dyno tune it to max it out.

Keith2323, as stated above, get a real tune on your bike before you start throwing cams at it. The 259E works well with that package but as any package, it must be tuned. What you displayed on that graph is an extremely poor excuse for a tune. It looks much more like a canned map was thrown at it which NEVER works well.

I'm not sure I can agree. There are plenty of canned maps out there that work pretty well indeed, though not nearly as well as a good tune. That graph looks to me like the wrong map was used, or it wasn't tuned at all.

Glad you've found some canned maps that work. In 20+ years of dyno tuning, I might have seen 1 or 2 that might have been close. Even those were greatly improved upon with some real tuning. I agree that it probably wasn't tuned at all-- the graph just shows 3 consecutive runs. With his exhaust, I'd be surprised if a canned map would suffice.

Yep, get it to a dyno tuner with a solid rep

I think we're mostly on the same page. My point was, compared to dyno sheets I've seen of similar builds, the one the OP posted looks all wrong.

Keith, where are you located at?? Let's see if we can find you a tune before you go any farther.

If you decide after a tune you need more, then start talking cams, compression and fixing the porting and valve problems with the cnc heads.

first things first. Figure out exactly where you are

Is that with heads also? Either way. Seems way low on power. The 58 with electronic throttle control should not be hurting tq but can actually increase it if tuned correctly.

The 58mm throttle body is not the problem. The OPs chart looks like a dealer tune; base map and the auto tune. Tuning is not a money maker for dealerships; takes 3-4 hours and 30 plus pulls for a proper tune. The OP should leave the motor alone until he can get it to a competent tuner and get it tuned and go from there.
