Left handed drill bit, then used EZ out and slowly threaded stud back out... some serious luck 😬

That is one way to get it done. Some are stuck so tight, EZ Outs will break; sometimes being luck is better than being smart. Use some anti-sieze on the new stud.

master auto mechanic here. worked at ford long time so a lot of broken exhaust studs. there are a number of ways to do it but i wouldn't let this be your first attempt. old exhaust o n lie take it back to harley
