One more thing, with a magnifying glass have you ever looked down the porcelain of you disk plugs? If you find what looks like pepper specs, it's actually metal from the top of your piston..... Detonation...
I use to run the bike with a .45 hg @10.6,brought it down to a .30hg @10.99 and it has less tendency to ping now,Talking slight ping not glass crunching rattles if I get lazy on dropping a gear.

That that was the best thing you could do, decreasing your squish from .045" down to .30" that actually helps to eliminate donation. That's why a lot of guys go to a .030" head gasket when they're building higher compression Motors. It helps to produce a better burn. It's pretty critical, more critical than most people think.
