Angry Over revved and it died! Help!

i was being an idiot last night and showing off. My engine wasn’t warmed up yet and I over revved it a few times showing off how loud my pipes were. (Stupid I know!!) then it just died and won’t start. That ended my showing off and I was just embarrassed. I’ve never had any problems with it. What do you think I might have done?? How serious is it?

Just died? Nothing catastrophic, no oil everywhere? Can you get to the engine codes? Maybe clear them or disconnect the battery for a moment and try again?

Define it wont start, i.e what symptoms does it have? It just spins and doesn't fire? does it sputter?

It's weird for an engine to break for going to the rev limiter, even if its cold, unless you do that every day, it isn't good to rev a cold engine but it shouldn't break because of that

first real easy test, take the plugs out & put your thumb over each hole, crank the motor & see if you've got compression.over reving can cause valve float, resulting in bent valves.

Right. Providing you can crank it. Dead vs won't start...

like others have said, we need a bit more data,,,,when you turn on the ignition switch does the bike have power? lights light up,,,,does it not have power? will it power up and crank,,,,,or no crank? If you get no electrical power, check your battery terminal connections,,,,maybe just vibed a battery connection loose....put up more data so we can try to help.
