Default 113 S&S 631 cam 11:1

Anyone here run this combo? I have this in my FXR and the friken bike screams. I was thinking of another cam to bring the TQ on sooner. its a revver like 6+ rpm 3500 up its stupid.{ put out 127/131 hp tq. back when it was built 1999.} what cam are you guys running on yr evo big blocks? would a woods 9B or 9f work with 11:1 or other....

the 600 cam worked pretty well in those engines and came on a little sooner, but you might lose some on top.

does the 600 play well with 11:1 compression

The 9b would strike off bottom the best at 11:1
But to get ccp up around 205 and stupid fun quick hard hitting tq, the wood 8.

Agree on the 8. Hits stupid hard at 3500.... And will carry past 6k no problem...

SnS 113 evo. CR set at about 10.8 with a 640 cam that was advanced 3 degrees.. Super G bored to 1.85 with one T jet.. dyna 2000I curve 4 with timing mark left side of window. Home made staggered duals. 4th gear run.. 11.29@121.8 in bobber.

I'd lean in the direction of a Wood 9F, at 11.0-11.2.
Smash big torque early and carry it.
113" on our site........130/140.....client would drive the FXR to the track....blast out 10 sec pulls, and drive it home, beating trailered bikes...lol.

The 631 has a 631 lift the 9f looks to be 650. I wonder if I have enough room?

If those springs are 20 years old, I'd put an eyeball on them anyway.
You'll have plenty of valve/valve, piston/valve, .631 vs Wood 9F.
Upper collar to seal, and coil bind, might, be a concern.
Best to check it out.
