Default woods 222 or cyclerama 570-2

I have a 2015 hd limited and want to install cams.Is there a noticeable seat of the pants differance between the 2 cams.
woods 222 or cycleramas 570-2..Does one have a better lope than the other..I will also do a stage 1 with cams and no headwork for now, maybe never..Tuned with a Powervision..

Peace and Prayers

I really like the 222's and they have proven themselves over and over. Recently I saw a Dyno run of the CR570 and found it hard to believe what I saw. A true table top on the curve that hit low and carried out a little farther than the 222. I even posted that I thought it was a happy dyno. A few days later I was talking to a good friend upstate (Scott@Hillside) about the cam. I remember saying to him that there was a build on here with the CR570 in one of the "which cam is best" threads and I couldn't believe the posted numbers. I thought it was bullshit but he told me that "no, that cam does work very well".... So All I can is that I trust him very, very much and that He's built me some top notch Evo's that'll make most bikes in my cubic inch class look like ****. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Not a lot of overlap in the 222 (28* for the lope your looking for) and i don't know what it is in the 570. Numbers for that cam are hard t0 find....

Numbers are on Sheffer's Performance page along with several dyno's with the 570-2's. I have seen the same. Flat tq curve. Last one I did popped over 100 at 2400 and carried out over 100 to 5000. Max was 107. 2-1 supermeg with disc tuned. Straight bolt in.

I recently installed a set of 222's, while havn't had much riding time since due to weather, have got about 200mi on them, they have better low end and a slightly lumpy idle. I also did no head work nor raise compression and fuel moto sent me a tune for the power vision. no pinging or decel pop.

One thing to note when reviewing dyno sheets on both cams is which exhaust and intake are used, these will play heavily in what results you get. IMO both are high quality cams. Important thing is make sure all parts play well together to reach YOUR goals.

As 98hotrod said, and I trust him, the 570’s are putting up some incredible numbers, that disprove a lot of belief’s in cam science. I have the 222’s, and they are great cams, but, if I were to do it again, I’d definitely go with the cr’s. I honestly believe that they may be the best bolt in cams in the world.
